A disparate group of people in rural Georgia must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive in upcoming Peacock horror series “Teacup,” executive produced by James Wan and inspired by Robert McCammon‘s Stinger. And a new teaser highlights the intensity that scenario brings. The first two episodes of “Teacup” premiere on Peacock on Thursday, October 10, followed by two episodes weekly through Halloween. Watch the brand new teaser below, which still gives nothing away in terms of the horror threat, and check out new episodic images below that introduces the group of characters. The series from Atomic Monster, UCP, and showrunner Ian McCulloch (“Yellowstone”) follows a group of people on a ranch who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive. As the showrunner previously revealed in a statement, don’t expect this series to faithfully adhere to the novel that inspired it. Scott Speedman (The Strangers), Yvonne Strahovski (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), and Chaske Spencer (“Jessica Jones”, The Twilight Saga), Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre, Luciano Leroux star in “Teacup.” E.L. Katz (The Haunting of Bly Manor, Channel Zero) helms the first two episodes. Executive producers include James Wan (The Conjuring Universe, Archive 81, M3GAN), Michael Clear (Archive 81, Swamp Thing) and Rob Hackett (Archive 81, I Know What You Did Last Summer) for Atomic Monster, Francisca X. Hu, Kevin Tancharoen. |
