Which one hit wonders to the UK and US had songs that were uncharted or only local hits but were better than the hit they were famous for?

This song was the #1 country song of 2008, but in my opinion, there was so much more where it came from.
God bless you and James always!!! Holly (a fan of him because of that very song) |

Mike Oldfield will forever be a one hit wonder in the U.S. for "Tubular Bells", but he has a long list of songs that are just as good or better that either failed to make the top 40 or didn't chart at all including:
"Family Man" (later covered and charted by Hall & Oates) "Moonlight Shadow" "Crime of Passion" "Heavens Open" "Man In the Rain" "Magic Touch" "Shadow on the Wall" "Tricks of the Light" "Five Miles Out" "Poison Arrows" "Flying Start" "Sailing" "Innocent" "Shine" |
