Default More late-ep Diane references (The Beer is Always Greener/Love Me, Love My Car/etc.)

besides the finale, three season 11 eps refer to Diane, again. in Do Not Forsake Me, 'O My Postman, in the teaser, Norm and Cliff are talking about how they have nothing to do and that nothing ever happens around the bar. then Andy Andy walks in and demands to Diane. Rebeccas all scared and stuff, but Norm is just like "hey its Andy Andy." Rebeccas amazed that Norm knows him and that hes so calm. Woody tells him Miss Chambers hasnt worked there for 5 years now. Andy replies "Oh...OK." and walks out. then Norm asks Cliff again "So what do u wanna do..." Rebecca gives them a look

in Love Me, Love My Car, in the teaser again, Sam is talking to a Salvation Army guy outside of Cheers. he has no money, and tells him that as Frasier walks down the steps. Sams like "see the bar burnt down. its all rebecca fault...actually this is the bar right here. me and women...wow...i guess it all started...i guess when this blond waitress came here. u might remember her, she was blond...name's Diane..." it fades to the Boston skyline (like they do for transitions). then it goes back to Sam talking to the SA guy still "so Rebecca finally admits to burning down the bar! wow...man...i was mad! So..." as Frasier walks out of the bar, he sees Sam still talking to the SA guy, so he goes over and pulls him away. the SA guy had taken his hat off, from "too much info". Frasier gives him some money and says "youve earned it". lol...Sam spent hours telling some poor (not literally) salvaltion army guy the entire show's storyline.

the best is in The Beer is Always Greener, when Carla wont leave her new bar to go back to Cheers because she gets paid so much, and tells Sam nothing will make her leave. her boss tells her shes doing such a great job, shes giving her a trainee, Ellen. Ellen walks out...its like an exact copy of Diane! (clothes, hair, voice, etc). "Hi, Im Ellen. You must be carla! I know what your thinking...I dont look like waitress..thats because Im not. im really a student at BU, and a writer. actually, a poet..." Carla screams and runs out of the bar. at the end, back at Cheers, Carla wont tell sam why she left the new bar. she just tells him to never go back there

lol just thought id share those w/ u...(im bored haha)

There was another Diane reference in the episode where Woody and Sam put up an antenna so they can get satelitte or something like that. I haven't seen that ep in a while and I don't remember the name of the ep either but I remembered a Diane reference.

That is episode Episode 243 Heeeeere's Cliffy, when Cliff goes on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. An absolute classic episode.

actually theres another obscure Diane reference in an episode from the Final Season

Episode 262- The Last Picture Show

when Frasier, Woody, Cliff, and Norm go to the drive-in for the last time before they tear it down. They are talking about the movie and talking about actressed, and Frasier mentioned how a particular actress left hollywood or something to that effect, and Woody replies:

" I dont understand, Why would an actress leave in the middle of a successful Television series?"

These are from season 9: In Love Is A Perfectly Okay Thing Sam is describing changes to the bar he's made since regaining ownership and Norm says that he doesn't notice little things like that, then asks "By the way, did Diane come in?"

In Bad Neighbor Sam, he complains about the yuppie clientele turning the bar "into something Diane would have liked."

In Carla Loves Clavin, Sam shows the gang a chart of the last ten Miss Boston Barmaid contest winners' physical assets. Woody asks, "Why is that one smaller than the others?", to which Sam replies "That was the year Diane won."
