it was only mentioned for 1 episode which was Michael's Big Fall. Its stated Lou Gosset fills in for John Amos. All the other eps says nothing lol So if you watch the show during the original run you would say......Where the hell is James? or Florida? or JJ or Michael.

Interesting. On the Brady Bunch the characters had it written into their contract they would miss 2 episodes per season to save the network money.

Was there absent explained in the episode? I know that two Good Times eps they didnt even mention where James and Florida was. Same thing with Michael
