When Taco Bell announced a new image to help gain more customers and hope to attract more customers with a new interesting menu they came up with an interesting solution. A mascot known around the world as Gidget. Gidget made her debut in 1996 with the pop culture slogan "Yo Quiero Taco Bell" "I like Taco Bell" and based on her debut commercial Gidget soon became an instant celebrity for Taco Bell and turned her voice actor into a huge celebrity cartoon voice actor and he has become a huge star in cartoon voices due to this role. Soon Gidget was seen everywhere in merchandise from toys t-shirts and plushies and Taco Bell knew this was the mascot that would bring them millions. And Gidget's Taco Bell commercials were very funny and it's no secret that because of Gidget Taco Bell gained a big audience. Gidget retired in 2001 and died in the 2010's but if there was a fast food mascot award being given Gidget would most likely win it
