Default Tom Poston on Super Password

Watching Tom Poston on super password. It's the beginning of the Series 1984 episodes 10 to 15. He's a funny guy I really like him in the Bob Newhart Show and Newhart.

You can be so annoying though on a show like this. The contestants are trying their hardest to earn some money .He lets his humor bleed into the money time though..He actually gave an answer to a puzzle trying to be funny 10 seconds after he was buzzed for not having an answer. It seemed like it helped the opposing team. His mouth is just totally out of control without a filter. It'd be perfect for a interview show or tattletales or something of that nature. But for a thinking show like password with time limits it's another story. I think his humor and lack of discipline and having no dictates of common sense cost a lot of contestants mmoney making opportunities. Bert convy appeared to be getting annoyed with his schtick.

I thought I'd look into his history on the show and think 5 episodes and that theyd have enough of him. But no he was on super password Believe It or Not 66 times.

Go figure?

That can be a problem up to present day in game shows. The civilian is on looking for potential life changing or helping money, and the celeb partner is looking only for the laugh or to "perform".

Tom Poston was one of the first celebrities on the original version of Password when the show debuted in 1961. He was on the premiere week with To Tell the Truth panelist Kitty Carlisle.

Bert convy mentioned that he was on the first password panel during a show.

Love his comedic work. Love the peeper.

But if I was on password teamed with him I'd be sweating bullets that he'd be out of control.

He's actually very bright and plays well when he's taking it seriously.

Tony Randall was on with Marcia Wallace. Tony went into a story about some Italian opera related far out fact. Marcia Wallace says boy I'd of gone my whole life without knowing that. Tony says marcia do want to go your whole life being ignorant? I think that was password plus 79. Allen luddens jaw dropped. Tony being Felix

Hope Amazon prime gets more..
