I was listening to Pandora and found the song A Place In The Sun by Engelbert Humperdinck and I would like to know what it's about? I know a lot of singers have covered this song but did Stevie Wonder originally sing it first? My dad likes A Place In The Sun because of it's sound

I think this song is about hope. If you're tired and weary, just know and keep believing you will find your place in the sun if you keep going. A place in the sun would be your fulfillment, your true happiness. Don't stop believing.
