Did any of you watch "Jeopardy!" on Wednesday, July 10? The rightmost category in the first round was "FIX THE MALAPROP", and it gave clues. Each clue one word wrong, which, when corrected, would form a true statement. For example, "The Minnesota Twins play their home games at the Metronome in Minneapolis". Correct question: What is Metrodome? (This was the $400 clue, BTW.) Just change one letter in "Metronome".
Right when I saw this I knew these could all be potential Balki-isms! Way to go, "Jeopardy!"! |
