April, May, and June are common names, and there are people named August and January. If you HAD to pick one of the remaining seven months to name your kid (ok, oddball question, just go with premise) which would you choose? And why?

![]() September is beautiful for a name and long hot summer is over , but what nicknames would go with this ? Septi or Seppi ? They are similar to septic or sepsis ( two kimd of not pleasant things) ! ![]() And October and November are lovely months , but Oct. Reminds me of Octopus and November has the word No in it !

I wonder how many people realize that our months are named incorrectly. In Roman times, the year began in March and had ten months. When the calendar year was lengthened to reflect reality, the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth months, September, October, November and December (meaning seven, eight, nine, and ten) were each moved back two months.
