Default Rank the seasons

Ok the golden girls is unique in that it had no bad seasons. They are all about equally funny basicly. But some seasons were SLIGHTLY better then others. like to me season 7 is much better then the first season. So herer are mine

1. Season 7(it got the lowest ratings but the characters were at there bests and there are some of the BEST episodes here)
2. Season 4
3. Season 3
4. Season 6
5. Season 2
6. Season 5
7. Season 1 ( Some GREAT episodes were here, but there are a few episodes maybe 4 or 5 where i just don't find myself laughing as much as i would in the next 6 seasons, mainly in the VERY beggining, like Transplant, and the will episode. they had some minor kinks to work out and they did by the middle of the season.)

I think this is a great topic...

unfortunately, I don't know shows by the seasons. I know them usually within the first 30 seconds or so, but the continuity between seasons and such just doesn't work in my head. I'm the same way with songs -- I know a LOT of music, but I can never do titles or artists.

But... I think the last couple of seasons were pretty good.

i look at the episodeguide, to find out. And i go by Dorthy's hair alot. each season she does have a different hair style. Except for seasons 1-3. they're all the same.

Best: Season 7 (all of my favorite episodes except for one are from this season.)

Worst: Season 1 (the writers were still feeling their ground as to what they could get away with and weren't really pushing the censorship limits yet.)

To me Season 5 was the best. But Dorothy's hair looked hideous during this season.

I liked the 1st season, the 4th or 6th seasons were probably my least favorite. There's something really strange about the 4th season, I can't put my thumb on it exactly though. I particularly liked Dorothy in season 7, she had this charming wit during this season. She was SOOOOOO hilarious during this time period.

My favourite season was season 4.

My least favourite season was season 1.

A couple of reason that I don't enjoy season 1 as much as the others are:

1. Too many relatives visit. I find the best episodes are when it's about 1 of the 4 girls, not some relative we don't see again. Season 4, I think is the only season when none of their children visit.

2. There are some episodes I really do not like Dorothy. Somewhere I read that Bea Arthur did not like the way her charater was being written, but I don't know when that applied.

As for the rest, I'm not sure of the order I would put them in. I also liked seasons 3 and 7.
