Default Alice had a breakdancing episode?

I'm reading in Sports Illustrated about how breakdancing (or 'breaking', as they try to call it nowadays) is an Olympic sport this year and how prevalent it was back in the '80s and they mention Alice had a breakdancing episode.

How'd that work?

Do you remember the plot? I’m guessing a dance team comes in the diner and somehow puts on a show. Am I close?

If my memory is correct, Mel throws them out because they are dressed like hoodlums. They all wore that loud 80s crap with spiked jewelry, bandanas, etc. There is an extensive dance routine in the alley in the back of the diner. But somehow they are invited to dance inside the diner. I cant recall for what though. It draws a big crowd and even Alice gets into the break dancing. Its so silly that its sort of funny in a good way.

I remember a scene with the breakdancing group in the alley. Something happened that led them to start chanting "The jerk! The jerk! The nerdy kid!" It was pretty corny.

OMG !! LOL !!

I have no idea why I have never seen this episode before? I thought I had seen every Alice episode ?! Or if I did see this , not recently ? I think I would remember this!?

One that comes close to being completely goofy and corny was when Jay Leno and Horshak guest starred as Outlaw motorcycle Bikers who kidnapped Alice ! Those two were SO NOT scary ! Very unbelievable as Biker gang tough guys! It was hilarious!
