The other day I listened to Anne Murray's hit song A Little Good News from the album of the same name and I remember when she first got her hit with Snowbird and based on that song alone Anne Murray became famous and Snowbird is one of my mom's favorite songs of Anne Murray. And it surprises me that Anne Murray still puts out wonderful albums of jazz and gospel songs today and I think Anne hoped to become a huge pop star of the 70's and she is still amazing

I love her songs named "Time, Don't Run Out On Me", "Now And Forever (You And Me)", and "Let There Be Love" which is a duet between Anne and her daughter, Dawn.
![]() God bless you and Anne and her daughter always!!! Holly P.S. To me, Dawn couldn't sound anymore like her mom.

To me the songs Anne Murray shines on are cover songs. Like do you remember her cover of The Monkees Daydream Believer and her wonderful version of The Beatles You Won't See Me? I think when she made her debut Anne Murray was gonna be like Debby Boone and was destined to be a star

I found out from my mom that Anne Murray retired from music in 2008 and moved back to Canada and I never saw news of a farewell tour or anything else. So this was a surprise to learn about
