As a panelist on Match Game Or host of the Family Feud? Which game show did you like Richard Dawson better on?

He definately shined on the 2 games shows, and I think is much more known for them today, than co-starring on Hogan's Heroes! But between being host of Family Feud and a regular panelist on The Match Game, I kind of think its a toss up.

i agree with the kissing, it was annoying, it was better on the match game. they even made fun of richard dawson on family guy with the kissing and peter being richard dawson on family fued.

I liked Family Feud w/Dawson (this includes the 1994 version, BTW) way better than Match Game '7x.

I liked Match Game better but Richard really did shine on Family Feud.

I have been watching Match Game on GSN for about a year and I prefer this show to Family Feud which was also great with Richard as host. On Match Game he was suave and the essence of cool.

Very handsome too!

Agreed. I read that the "kissing" thing all got started when a contestant was very nervous and he kissed her to calm her down. Then it went on from there!

Since he HOSTED Feud, I have to say Richard shined better there. But when he left Match Game, it just wasn't the same, even though it became obvious that Dawson didn't want to be on MG anymore towards the end.

Tough call. In his prime, he was great on both. Match Game, he eventually got bored with, but when he was good, he was very funny. Family Feud, of course he was a great ad-libber there for years. I have to go with Match Game. I slightly preferred him when he shined there (the 74 eps. currently airing on GSN are a prime example) over Feud.
