Exclusive: NeNe Leakes to Return for "Glee's" Final Season
Sep 17, 2014 by Kate Stanhope Another familiar face will be returning to the halls of McKinley High for "Glee's" final season, and Sue (Jane Lynch) might not be so happy about it. "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes is set to reprise her role as Coach Roz Washington, TVGuide.com has learned. Roz was first introduced in Season 3 as the coach of McKinley's synchronized swimming team. She was later put in charge of the Cheerios when Sue was fired — causing obvious tension between the two tough women. In Season 5, Roz helped the cheerleading squad win first place at Nationals, and Principal Sue subsequently allowed Roz to keep her job. Leakes will appear in at least one Season 6 episode, which is set to shoot in early October.
