Default Lisa Whelchel News

I saw on Lisa's Twitter someone posted this

Missyae‏@TheGameSurvivor
@ENews Lisa Whelchel, Blair from Facts of Life will be on Survivor: Philippines this fall on CBS, good player too!!

I hope this is true cause I think it would be great seeing back on tv and I think she might do a pretty good job I just hope they don't vote her off too soon since we the viewers don't get to vote on this reality show like Idol.

Lisa Whelchel on a reality show? It's just hard to believe it. I think it would be funny if they had some kind of humiliation game where she would have to put hot sauce on her tongue

I don't know if it's true she will be on, but it's something she would do because she was campaigning to be on Survivor on twitter a while back.

I'm certain that it's true.

Lisa's twitter account went completely silent during March & April. The upcoming season of Survivor was filmed March 18th-April 25th, in the Phillipines. On May 12th, Lisa posted a picture at her daughter's graduation. She was VERY tan, and definitely looked slimmer than she did a year ago, at the TV Land awards.

It all adds up...especially when you consider that she's been obsessed with Survivor, for years, and basically campaigned to get on it. Tweeting Jeff Probst, soliciting fans to help get her on the show, etc.....

I LOVE IT! I haven't watched Survivor in years, but I will be glued to it, this fall! I think she would do very well... because she is a die-hard fan and understands how to play the game...but also, her experiences as an actress and a public speaker. She knows how to "work" people, get 'em on your side. This is going to be so much fun!

You know I was wondering about that too cause like you said during march till may she wasn't on twitter or facebook and I was hoping that was why. So it must be true then, AWESOME!. And I haven't watched it either in a long time but I will since Lisa will be on. I hope she did well and made it a long ways.

From her website:

"Was it fun fulfilling your longtime desire to be a contestant on “Survivor?”

I don’t think “fun” is the word I would use to describe my experience. Those days on the island were the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. It pushed me to my extreme limits physically, mentally, spiritually, and especially, emotionally. I’m so very grateful for the opportunity and I’m so glad I did it but I think it’s like childbirth…I may need to put a few years behind me and some perspective in front of me before I would ever consider doing it again."

Lisa is on Survivor!!!!
Go to Survivor Fever. It is the best site for the show. I go on all the time.
It tells all the new contestants. It looks like a interesting cast. One of my favorites from Season 2 is coming back. Michael Skupin. He was burned in Season 2 and had to leave. I'm so glad to see him back. Also Lisa. Michael and Lisa are on the same team. I love Survivor. I love The Facts of Life What a great wonderful surprise. I WILL be watching.
