n the game of "Survivor," keeping a low profile can be key to snagging the final million-dollar prize.

That means two players on the upcoming season of "Survivor: Philippines" will definitely have their work cut out for them — former "Facts of Life" actress Lisa Whelchel and baseball MVP Jeff Kent.

Whelchel, best known as preppy Blair Warner from the hit 80s sitcom, told Entertainment Weekly that she's been a fan of “Survivor” from day one.

"I've watched it from the very first episode, and had 'Survivor' parties with my family," she told the magazine. "A friend of mine said, 'Let's just film a little iPhone video of you and you can put it on your Twitter and ask all your followers to retweet it. And maybe they'll contact you and know you want to be on the show.' And that's what happened!"
