Default Lisa Whelchel and Survivor

For anybody who watched tonight's episode, do you think when Jeff asked Lisa if her difficulty in choosing who to vote out at tonight's tribal council was a similar situation to her in her past, do you think she was saying yes to her divorce? And how the heck did Jeff know to ask that question?!?! It's like he knew when she didn't tell anybody during the taping of the show!

You know, I had exactly the same thoughts!!! She said that she had similar problems in making a very difficult decision, "but it was personal."
I knew exactly what she was talking about. At the time of the taping, she wasn't going to say much about it, I knew. That was pretty incredibly that Jeff asked that question!

So many mysteries to Lisa, aren't there!

Sometimes I wonder how her experience on 'Survivor' will affect so many things, so many decisions in her life. I felt so terrible when she cried in that one episode, feeling so all alone, no one trusting her. There was no one at home for her now, her kids were half the world away and no husband for that emotional support anymore. It just tore me up.

'Survivor' isn't just a high-stakes game, I think for her, it is what is known as a vision quest.

I think Lisa handled that question well, all she did was nod her head and faintly said yes and that was it. I know there are times Lisa thinks she just can't play this game but she made it to the top 6 and no votes against her yet so obviously she is doing something right. And I agree, ABlairican Pie I felt bad for Lisa also when she was crying about feeling all alone. I kind of had a feeling she was secretly crying about her divorce more then anything. I'm Really hoping Lisa win this game!

It's rather strange, in the latest People, she seems to take her divorce in stride, that she and Steve are actually quite amicable in their business relationships. But since this episode was filmed a few weeks, as far as I can tell, after her divorce became final, I am very certain she was very emotional in that segment due to the breakup of her marriage. I'm sure a number of things brought on her tears. It was so hard not to feel terrible for her.

She's actually doing very well, she's taken a more proactive role in the game.
But she admits she feels very conflicted in her decision to either remain loyal to certain members of her alliance, or to go ahead and blindside certain people who may be worth sacrificing, though they may have been kind to her. This game is getting very rough for her, and she hates making unpopular decisions. But there have been some moments where she has really opened up to people who fully understand her and she's beginning to find out a lot of things about herself. These are amazing episodes. Tonight's episode should be very good.

Sad

I didn't get to watch last night's episode, they didn't have it on CBS last night at the fitness center. Lisa gave me the link on FB in October which gave me the chance to catch up on a few episodes a while back, but I can't find the link now. I wonder if I might be able to search for it online, because I really want to see it!!!

I've been rooting for Lisa since day 1 hope she wins. I had no idea about her divorce til I read the yahoo blurb. I really don't like Jeff he likes to cause drama just for ratings.

Oh, and I cannot believe you diehard FOLers don't know this. Massive fail, guys

Justice is actually Justice Coleman. He used to be Casey Coleman, he changed his name after 9/11. And he's Lisa's half-brother--same mother, different fathers

I knew he went by Casey as his first name for a while then he changed it to Justice. Actually Casey is his middle name and Justice is his real first name.
