Max Original "The Penguin" Moves to HBO

Last month, Warner Bros. Discovery shifted three of its highest profile Max Originals – "Harry Potter", "Lanterns" and "Welcome to Derry" – to become HBO Originals.

The company is now continuing this shift with the move of "The Penguin" and "Dune: Prophecy". Both shows will now premiere on HBO as well as launching on its Max streaming service.

Following "The Penguin’s" premiere on Thursday, Sept. 19, subsequent episodes will air on Sundays.

An encore presentation of Episode 1 will be shown on Sept. 22; Episode 2 will then follow on Sept. 29.
