Word has it that the murder of Dana Satterfield is going to be the subject of an upcoming episode of Forensic Files. The name of the episode is "Driven to Silence," and it is scheduled to air on Friday, June 20 at 9:30 PM (Eastern Time).
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the case, Dana Satterfield was a South Carolina hairdresser who was murdered at the hair salon where she worked. The crime occurred in July 1995. A man named Jonathan Vick was arrested and charged with the murder in 2005. He was eventually convicted of the murder, and sentenced to life in prison. The UM segment on the case was originally shown on May 16, 1997, the last first-run broadcast of the 1996-97 season (which was also the show's last NBC season). Please tune in to the FF episode this coming Friday!

Was this the one where a sales lady showed up at her salon & sold her some stuff & later on this sales lady actually ran into the killer?

Yes she was a very nice looking woman. |

In fact, the new FF episode is going to include a reenactment of the sales lady seeing the killer coming out of the salon. I know this because of the trailer at the show's web site. Although the trailer doesn't mention Dana Satterfield by name, I came across other information confirming that the episode is about the Dana Satterfield case. Here's the trailer: http://www.forensicfiles.com/trailer_319.html |

Tonight's the night the episode airs. Please remember that the episode will air on TruTV at 9:30 PM (Eastern Time).
I wish to also note that when I began this thread, I stated that the episode would air at 9:00 pm. That was an error, but I corrected it. So to clear things up, a rerun of FF will be on at 9:00 pm, and the new episode about Dana's murder ("Driven to Silence") will be on at 9:30 pm. Please excuse my initial mistake. In case any of you miss the 9:30 broadcast of the episode and are planning to stay up late enough, "Driven to Silence" will be rerun at 1:30 am. Therefore, you have two chances to see it tonight. In any event, don't miss it!

Thanks for the reminder, I would have missed this tonight!
I live about an hour away from where the murder took place, so I'm really interested in seeing the FF story on this. |

Is there anyway for me to watch it without cable? Are these up online somewhere?

It was a good show, just think it should have been talked about more than a 1/2 hr , plus that was weird that Danas daughter helped unknowingly solve her mothers murder.

It just made me sick to see Jonathan Vick at his sentencing! He's obviously guilty and he's standing there so arrogant sobbing saying that Dana didn't get justice today because her killer is still out there.
For those of you who didn't get a chance to watch the FF episode, they said he's also a suspect in two other cases of missing women. One was his fiancee at one time and the other was her co-worker. Here are their profiles:http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...s_heather.html http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/..._michelle.html |

Jonathan Vick definitely struck me as arrogant. He was only sobbing because he had just been exposed as Dana Satterfield's killer. |
