The new season of Forensic Files II begins on Sunday night, July 11, and the first case they will be documenting is one that UM featured during the 1993-94 season: The 1992 murder of Lisa Ziegert. She was the Agawam, MA teacher who was abducted from the gift store where she worked in the evenings. She was later found stabbed to death. A man named Gary Schara was linked to the murder through DNA. In 2019, he pleaded guilty to Lisa's murder and is now serving a life sentence in prison without the possibility of parole.
The FF2 episode is titled "The Obsession" and will air on Sunday, July 11 at 10:00pm (EST) on HLN. https://unsolvedmysteries.fandom.com/wiki/Lisa_Ziegert |

thank you for posting this Kane. I was able to watch. definitely happy that her family got closure and that the perpetrator was caught. I'm also left with a heavy heart for Lisa. I was also distraught when they mention in the episode that there was another suspect who was committing similar crimes in the same type of stores in other states. wish that we could live in a world where this doesn't happen.

Hoping to catch this one as well to watch but also have a question for those on the forum. I could have sworn there was a thread showing which UM cases appeared on Forensic Files/Other Crime shows. Does anyone either have a link to that thread or know where to find a list of the cases on both shows?
