He did lie and ruined the life of the victim. Even McCoy was mad at him and should have fired him. I would have fired him if a cop talked to me like that. This was why I hated Fontana and I'm glad he didn't last long.

McCoy was not Fontana's boss. Van Buren was the one who could fire him.
