Don was also Ruff, Boo Boo, Pixie, Astro, Dr. Quest, Bandit, Ricochet Rabbit,
Atom Ant, Bamm-Bamm, Muttley, So So, Precious Pupp, Papa Smurf, and Mr. Twiddle (not to mention Hamton Pig and Droopy). But he will probably always be best remembered for the voice that he provided for almost 20 years (from 1969 to 1986): Scooby-Doo. I also enjoyed his albeit brief on- camera role as Wally Wooster on the short-lived NBC sitcom Duck Factory (starring a young Jim Carrey). Set in an animation studio, Don played (what else?) a voice actor! |
