I seem to remember in 1995 the future WLNY (then WLIG) airing the 1994-1995 Family Feud in the morning or early afternoon.. I can’t remember if it was the half hour or hour.

If there was ever an award for worst game show of 1994 this version of Family Feud would be very worthy of this award and I don't know how Richard Dawson got asked to return to host Family Feud again but I think Richard wanted to make himself a Comeback Kid and wanted to show that he wanted to return to the show that got him famous and so I think after Ray Combs left Richard Dawson begged to host this version of Family Feud and the show's producers gave him a huge money deal. But the main reason why this Family Feud as with so many other game shows of 1994 failed was the OJ Simpson Trial because when it aired many game shows were preempted or simply wrapped up taping new episodes. Which is why Family Feud 1994 episodes showed only the second half of episodes because when you get the general picture syndicated game shows cost little money to tape episodes because not only are episodes taped there's also teasers and episode trailers included as well. So this reason might be why 1994 was a weak year for game shows in syndication
