Default Home cooked meal vs eat out or take out

Would like to know how many times during week do you eat out or take out food during dinner time. I say on average for me, I do take out maybe once a week and rest is home cooked meal. I eat dinner real late and that might be one of the reasons I eat at home alot as most food places are closed when I sit at the dinner table.

About twice a week take out food, the rest of the time home cooked meals or leftover homecooking . And a couple times a week lunch at or from a restaurant .

I'm guessing whats in the refrigerator or freezer or time it takes to cook a meal also factor in whether to eat out or not. If I am tired and don't feel like messing around the kitchen, I just whip up some eggs with spinach and cheese and call it the day.

I am very light lunch eater and tend to grab something quick from fast food places to keep me going till dinner time. At lunch time fast food and restaurants seem to have better service than night time service.

Or like with us sometimes we have Stouffers lasagna or Trader Joe's frozen lasagna ( it's really good) with a salad or Maria Calendars frozen dinners . Not home cooking per se but not take out either , but quick and easy .

Nothing like food from home kitchens, mine or family/friends.

I do less and less standing to cook and my energy level is Crap with this Aging Poop.....Just threw the last piece of the wild salmon into a can of Amy's Great Veggie soup.....I eat a break/lunch in early PM.

Both, I like to cook a good meal, but I look forward to getting out of the house too. Going out to eat and going to the movies, and browsing shops are some of the few pleasures I look forward to
