Cool Freddie Jr. on Friends!

Hi All,
Found this on E-online, it will be the 200th episode airing in November. Just wanted to let everyone know so they could keep an eye out....

From kelrose: I heard Freddie Prinze Jr. is gonna be on Friends for an ep!

Yes. He plays an ultra-sensitive male nanny for baby Emma. It's called "The One with the Male Nanny." Ross and Rachel are interviewing potential nannies and are getting progressively more freaked out, as no one suitable seems to be available. Then they interview a guy--Freddie. In the same episode, we also get the storyline I've been telling you about for so long: Hank Azaria comes back right when things start to heat up with Phoebe's new love interest, Paul Rudd.

Thumbs up I may be stuck in the '70's, but....

I agree with you, Cheryl--all that long, wavy, silky dark hair to play with...Mmmmmmm!

I have often wondered if Jr. ever gave any thought, when he shaved his head, to the fact that his father's beautiful hair ended up on the floor of an operating room in a futile attempt to save his life? Or has he ever even been told that such an operation was done? After all, he didn't really hear about his father's death until he was about 9 years old, and then not from his mother but from his dad's manager!

That is a good question. I wonder if Jr knows. It was so sad to read of Freddie's hair getting cut off for the operation. I'm sitting here wanting to cry cuz it's so sad thinking about it (reaches for a hanky). He had such pretty hair.

This week's issue of "People" stated that this episode will air on Nov. 7. They have a picture of Jr. with a couple of cast members.

Also on some newsmagazine show I think it was ACCESS HOLLYWOOD they had a thing on Sarah Michelle Gellar saying she's gonna be on Sat Nite Live. They showed a clip of her from it portraying some current female singer & she was dressed kinda skimpy. It showed her & jr & talked a bit about their wedding. She said when they invited folks to the wedding they didn't say what they were being invited to. Just to come & surprised them as to where it was gonna be...

Heads up! I saw an ad on channel 12 advertising that the episode of FRIENDS with Jr in it will be on this Thurs. It talks like he will be playing a sensitive Nanny that cries alot & is taking care of Rachels baby. In the ad they show Jr crying & acting real sensitive & wiping his tears with a hanky or something. That reminds me so much of his dad since his dad cried easily. I bet Freddie Sr could've played that role easily... He has to feels dads influence as he does this role... There is something on that episode in the TV Guide with a pic of Jr from the show with some of the Friends in it (I forget which ones offhand)...

Oh yeah it talks like the show is gonna be 20 minutes or so longer. Which means it will be more than the usual 30 minutes. I have no idea of it will be a full hour or not. We have to go to hubbys cousins house Thurs nite so I will have to settle with just taping it & not seeing it live...
