This morning as I was watching CATM I saw this hallowed garage and I thought Freddie seemed so hyper and loud on there compared to the other episodes he did.
Particularily near the end of the show when that government official ask Chico how he was going to prove that Father Sera was in the garage and Chico says how are you going to prove he wasn't! Does anyone else notice that or any other episodes that he seemed different? |

Yes..I've noticed that in some episodes he seems very happy and full of energy---almost hyper (eg, in "The Hypnotist" and "Return of Aunt Connie") and in some, particularly in the later episodes, there seems to be a lack of energy and he seems tired!

This might belong under the Rent or Own topic too but... In some epsiodes he goes back & forth between sounding Hispanic & non Hispanic. A good example of this is the episode where Della sets up Ed on a date with a woman whose son doesn't like him & it upsets Chico how the son does Ed. In one part of that he is talking to Della & talks normally talking non-Hispanic. Then the phone rings & he answers it with a Hispanic accent. When he finds out it is Sugarbritches who works for Della, he switches back to a regular accent. I have seen that in a few episodes...

I'm not sure but i think he just does that for the humor of it like the impressions I think it is just part of the show.
I was kind of wondering if maybe Freddie didn't "take a little something" before the taping of the hallowed garage episode because to me he seems so different and hyper in compoarrison to the other shows, and yes I noticed how hyper he was also during the return of aunt connie episode-especially in the restaurant scene he was. It was almost as if he couldn't stop his legs from moving |

Yes Joy, I know exactly what you mean. The last time I had seen that episode I was watching it with my husband and he made the comment that "I bet he was on something during the taping of this show!" I noticed how his eyes were very excitable when he spoke and he acted as though he were about to explode with laughter or something.

I thought it was just me! I noticed these things too. The last few episodes Freddie recorded he seemed to only laff when he was supposed to......I think back to the earlier days when he and Ed were constantly holding back a giggle. I miss his smile. :'(
