I don't know about everyone else, but I would really love to see The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy back on television. I know Hallmark brought the rights to The Lucy Show back in the spring. Soon afterwards I heard it was coming to t.v. in July, then September, then January, and now just this weekend I heard Hallmark might not even show it. Does anyone know the truth on this matter? I would really like to know. I assume they are going add the show to its schedule, why else would they buy it. And as for Here's Lucy as hear of no plans to show it. Being a political science major at Wake Forest, I know if you want to change things in government you let your representatives know what you think, and do it as many times as needed. So my idea is for anyone who would like to see these shows back on the air, to email TVLand and Hallmark EVERYDAY until they put these shows on the air. It might not work but its worth a try. I know TVLand got a negative response a couple of years ago for removing one of my favorite shows Sanford and Son off the air. I know they received a lot of emails, a few from myself, asking for the show back and I'm glad to say they are finally putting the show back on the air in January. I know TVLand will have to obtain the rights to show these programs but I really don't think that would be a problem. Does anybody agree with me or have any other ideas that might work?

I'm just tired of waiting for all that to happen, so i'm ordering copies of all the shows from people who have them, then i will no longer be at the mercy of these jerks! I want to die owning all 500 shows and 80 movies and hundreds of guest shots, talk shows, quizzes and the rest!

PAX has been airing HL on and off. I recall a few monthes for which the show aired, but then disappeared...anbd then reappeared again. They never showed all of the episodes though....I did get all of the episodes that did air though.

I Don't think emailing Hallmark and TV Land everyday would work at all, they would just get more mad then they already are, and they will get fed up with all the e-mails that they are sent, I think we should leave it to them , they are airing the shows, you wouldn't want it to make it harder for them, just be patient and await the shows to air.

Like the rest of you, I want both The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy back on the air. It would be nice if TV Land acquired the rights to The Lucy Show despite that a Lucy series is already on there. I think her 60's sitcom would add some variety to TV Land since it hasn't been run for a long time (while others like "Leave It To Beaver" have been reran to death practically). On the other hand . . . it would be just as nice if PAX-TV stay true to their promise and bring back Here's Lucy. That show, like all other rare shows, truly deserves to be on the air. Lucy's post-ILL work is just as great as her original ILL work and I don't see why her later shows should be off the air just because her original is on the air. Granted, her original is usually labeled as "her best series" but that shouldn't keep her other shows off the air. Her later shows may not be near as good as ILL (which I'm not saying) but they certainly rank better than some shows that have aired or is currently on air. (Some examples: "Taxi", "Maude", "The Beverly Hillbillies", "Hogan's Heroes", ect.) Sorry if I offended anyone regarding those shows above.
