okay i ahve two questions...
1. where the cosbys relgious? is tehre any mention of it?

2. Do you think Sondra really fit. She didn't act like a Cosby Kid to me. She didn't even look like the rest of the cast.

I did hear the Huxtables mention church from time to time. I recall there was one time that Denise got mad at olivia for not wanting to go to church or something. Plus Claire sang that song at hillman "All Good Things" that was somewhat gospel.

I think in general they stayed away from that subject on the show. Which surprises me because they tried to tackle other subjects. but I think the networks didnt want to lose audience by distinguishing them from other families by showing they were religious, and leaving it as more of an "implied" thing.

As for sondra, no she doesnt fit too well, but then again she was always older. If you see some early episodes, she acts like a cosby kid, there are even moments with her denise and vanessa together.

I think she loved Cosby show more than any of the other cast tho in real life.

Sondra, to me seemed to fit in. She was fine. I loved how shw would pull those intellectual facts on old and age and death to Cliff and he would come back with a remark like: Sondra, you should really get a job writing greeting cards." It would crack me up.

The Huxtables were Christian people and did go to church as well.
