Before Disney was gonna release their live-action version of The Little Mermaid I learned that there was gonna be a live-action version of The Little Mermaid but it wasn't the Disney version and so far the only thing that exists of this movie was a teaser trailer and from the teaser trailer I saw this version of The Little Mermaid was based on the original Hans Christian Andersen story and looked cool. But somehow this version never made it to theaters and will probably never get released. Whatever happened to this version of The Little Mermaid and why was it never released in theaters and what film company made this version of The Little Mermaid?

Uhh, can you find the teaser trailer of the movie so I can do a search on it? Because honestly the only info youve given is that said trailer exists. When did you see it?
