Default The Syndicated Ending of Shotgun Wedding was very WEIRD!

I saw the Shotgun Wedding Episode yesterday and could not understand that horrible ending. I see Richie running to get help because Fonzie was in danger and all of a sudden-Fonzie apperars out nowhere. That should be a episode that TV lAND should skip because the syndicated ending makes no sense. The episode was very good until the end. I guess i will have to wait for TV LAND to show the L&S version one day so that i can see the conclusion.

It would be so nice if TVLand would air L&S after HD. Back to back.

In the L&S ep, Richie gets to Laverne and Shirley's camp and they go back to the farm, then Fonzie comes out riding on a goat. That was hilarious.

Richie: "Why are you riding a goat?"
Fonz: "I got tired of riding on the pig."

LOL. Anywho, they have a square dance-off to win Fonzie and Richie back, because L&S pretend to be their fiances. L&S win, of course, but then the farmer guy says they have to get married right there, so he sent for a preacher, and they started a wedding. Lenny and Squiggy come to the rescue and Fonzie talks the farmer out of it.

Ugh I hate what they did to this episode! After the episode aired, instead of including the L&S conclusion in the rerun package, they just decided to reshoot part one so it would make sense and finish up the story. L&S has all the original parts andn othing was reshot for it because it still made sense as a 30 minute thing, but the HD one would've been missing the conclusion if they didn't reshoot the end. N@N aired it in it's original form a few times in the late 90s I think.

The only reason I won't tape over this episode is because the Laverne and Shirley scene with Fonzie and Richie is extremely funny.
