In 1991 we were introduced to a talented R&B singer by the name of Cece Peniston who had a top hit with the song Finally that became a popular 90's hit and a remix of Finally was featured in the movie The Adventures Of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert. Two years later Cece Peniston's debut also titled Finally debuted and showed that Cece could compete with Cathy Dennis Janet Jackson and Paula Abdul easily. In 1994 Cece released her second album Thought Ya Knew which featured her aiming for a Cathy Dennis like sound and then released her third and final album in 1996. I don't know why Cece Peniston's career had to end because she was talented and her songs were great. The last I heard about Cece Peniston was she became an actress who's acted in movies under her name Cecilia Peniston
