Default Home Alone 4

That's right folks there will be a Home Alone 4.Am I the only person who thinks that this series went down after Home Alone 2?

I mean 1 was ok.2 was great but 3 sucked.I guess 4 will be horrible then

I've got news for you, after Home Alone 1 they just should've ended it. I mean how many different ways can you use the concept?!?

Ugh....why must they go on??? Maculay (sp?) was the kid that should've always played the Home Alone kid. He couldn't do it for the 3rd because he had already gotten too old, and so the movie sucked. This 4th will suck also.

Here's something else. I've heard rumors about a Grease 3. Get this they want Travolta and Olivia to reprise the roles. I used to be a fan of the Grease movie, but I think I like the Grease 2 movie better now. Anyway, it just can't be done. I don't want to sound like some arrogant little snot, but can you imagine John and Olivia doing another Grease movie? I just can't imagine it. I've seen this rumor on the news and all sorts of places. If they have any sense at all, they would leave it alone.

Home Alone was great. Home Alone 2 was great. That should have been the end. They should follow the simple and logical equation "No Mac = No Home Alone."

I've seen that movie. It's pretty good. I got the soundtrack for it too. In my town, that thing is pretty rare. I only got that because of the Twist of Fate song

Not another Home Alone!! A new kid, new burglers, same concept. If it racks in a fortune--a Home Alone 5!! Though I think they should do something different if they are going to do a Home Alone 4--get Mac back. Put him in College. He is in a frat house. It is Thanksgiving. Everyone else left to be with family. Mac overslept and missed his plane. He is home alone in the frat house. Enter those two dimwits from the first couple of films--they think this is going to be a cakewalk--then they recognize that the kid they are dealing with is the same one who hassled them years earlier--and let the comic hijinks begin!!

That's a good idea, but I think even a better idea would retire the whole franchise. The time has passed. The birds flew south for the winter. The sands of time got swept away in the sea.

It's just time to retire it. It's the same with the Beethoven movies and the Problem Child movies. I bet hardly anybody on this board realized they had a Beethoven 3. Don't worry, you didn't miss a thing. It blew chunks. It's the same thing with the Problem Child movies. The first two were okay. It was worth watching to see John Ritter, but the third one they did (don't think it had Ritter or the original kid in it) blew chunks too.

We can say the same thing for the Jason and Freddy Kruger movies. They kind of overstayed their welcome. Do one more movie of each, and kill them both off. I've kind of got high hopes for the Chucky movies now. I hated the first two Chucky films, but I loved Bride of Chucky. I hope Seed of Chucky is just as good.

I remember when those movies came out when I was younger and Macaulay Culkin was my idol. I just thought that Home Alone 3 was just stupid and not funny. They didn't even have any of the same characters. And the kids mom left him home alone on purpose it wasn't even an accident this time.

You know what I think they should do I think they should have the same buglars but have a different kid. They should try and rob a rich old womens house and they'll be like this will be easy no kid to wreck things for us I mean what is the old lady going to do trip us with her cane. But what they don't know is this old lady ends up having her grandson stay there for the weekend and the grandma goes out for the night and has a babysitter come over but the babysitter goes in the grandmas room and calls her boyfriend and then ends up failing asleep so the kid ends up taking care of the burglars himself.

THE HIT ˇ°HOME ALONEˇ± FRANCHISE CONTINUES WITH ˇ°HOME ALONE 4,ˇ± AN ORIGINAL MADE-FOR-TV-MOVIE SET TO AIR SUNDAY NOVEMBER 3, 2002, ON ABCˇŻS ˇ°THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEYˇ±

French Stewart (ˇ°3rd Rock from the Sunˇ±) and
Nine-Year-Old Mike Weinberg (ˇ°Stolen Summerˇ±) Star

Production has begun on ˇ°Home Alone 4,ˇ± an original telefilm starring French Stewart (ˇ°3rd Rock
from the Sunˇ±) which will air Sunday November 3, 2002 (7:00-9:00 p.m. ET), on the ABC Television NetworkˇŻs ˇ°The Wonderful World of Disney.ˇ± This TV movie joins three previous ˇ°Home Aloneˇ± feature films, a classic franchise which has grossed nearly $1 billion worldwide in box office receipts.
This all-new edition again follows plucky 11-year-old Kevin McCallister (Mike Weinberg, ˇ°Stolen Summer,ˇ± ˇ°Life as a Houseˇ±) as he battles an old nemesis, Marv (French Stewart) and a new one -- MarvˇŻs
ditzy wife, Vera (Missi Pyle, ˇ°Josie and the Pussycatsˇ±) -- using his wits, ingenuity and a host of fantastic gadgets within an extraordinary home.
Christmas this year looks gloomy to Kevin. His parents have separated, and he impulsively decides to
spend the holidays with his dad, Peter, and his dadˇŻs rich girlfriend, Natalie. Natalie lives in an unusual
mansion -- a ˇ°smart houseˇ± in which almost everything responds to remote commands: doors open and close at
will, the chandelier rises and lowers, a swinging bookcase reveals a secret bar, etc. Even better, the frosty butler, Prescott, and sweet housekeeper, Molly, are at KevinˇŻs beck and call. But just as Kevin settles into his luxurious surroundings, Peter and Natalie leave to pick up some royal houseguests at the airport, including an 11-year-old crown prince.
In their absence, the devious Marv and Vera break in, intending to kidnap the crown prince. But they
didnˇŻt realize theyˇŻd be facing off with Kevin instead, and, while it may not be his house, he still has to protect it. With the help of the houseˇŻs high-tech wizardry, Kevin repeatedly thwarts them by turning the tables (and the swinging bookcases, shower jets and chandelier) on them. The antics build to a hilarious Christmas Day showdown in which everyone gets into the action during an unexpected reunion between Kevin and his parents, siblings, Natalie and the royal family.
In addition to French Stewart, Mike Weinberg and Missi Pyle, the cast includes Barbara Babcock (ˇ°Hill Street Bluesˇ±) as Molly, Jason Beghe (ˇ°Chicago Hopeˇ±) as Peter, Claire Carey (ˇ°Coachˇ±) as Kate, Joanna Going (ˇ°Inventing the Abbotsˇ±) as Natalie, Erick Avari (ˇ°Mr. Deedsˇ±) as Prescott, Gideon Jacobs as Buzz and Chelsea Russo as Megan.
ˇ°Home Alone 4,ˇ± based on the original successful 20th Century Fox film franchise, is executiveproduced
by David Madden and Lisa Demberg. Mitch Engel is producer. It is a production of Fox Television
Studios. Rod Daniel directs a teleplay by Debra Frank and Steve L. Hayes.
A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to airdate.
