When did Jean McFaddin get involved with Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade?
I was watching the 2000 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Youtube and noticed that it was the final year that the late Jean McFaddin was gonna be in charge of before she retired and I would like to know how Jean McFaddin got involved in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? Did she began working on the parade staff in the 80's? Or was she the head of Macy's holiday events for the store before becoming in charge of the parade? I also know that it was also the final parade for balloon designer Manny "Manfred" Bass because he also retired from Macy's in 2000. Was he and Jean McFaddin best friends?
