Default Dr. Pepper just passed Pepsi as the second biggest soda brand

>>>Coke is still the top soda in America. But the runner up spot, long held by Pepsi, now belongs to Dr Pepper.<<<

I drink NONE of the sodas but did in very early yrs in life. Nothing good about any of them, and wonder how many ending up with kidney stones, from imbibing in their lifes???

Conclusions
Consumption of sugar-sweetened soda and punch is associated with a higher risk of stone formation, whereas consumption of coffee, tea, beer, wine, and orange juice is associated with a lower risk.

I haven't tried it in years, but I remember it tasting something like a weak root beer. I can't believe anyone likes it.

Really ? I'd describe it as a stronger, sweeter Root Beer. I like root beer too. But Dr. Pepper has caffeine and Root beer doesn't. I drink Diet Coke or Diet Dr. Pepper instead of coffee sometimes .

I am glad Coke is still #1.

As for Dr. Pepper, I can take it or leave it.

My favorite is vanilla Coke. Great with the additional vanilla taste.

I am no longer a soda drinker. Way too much sugar. A can of coke I saw has 78 Milligrams of sugar. Good lord, how does anyone drink that. I do wonder how the companies continue so well. Will we see in the future caution labels on the side? Campbell soups are another with so much sodium.

Coke has 39 grams of sugar; Pepsi has a little more, around 41 grams. The 78 you posted is 78% of daily value.
