Last night I watched the 1967 smash movie, The Graduate and believe it or not, Aunt Clara and Esmeralda stood side by side playing sisters of all people. I couldn't believe it.

Marion Lorne died in 1968 putting the kabosh on the Aunt Clara character and a year later they added Esmeralda played by Alice Ghostley. Little did either one know, that in 1969, Bewitched would link them together forever as two of the most sweet and bumbling witches ever to be seen on television.
