I guess I liked it decenty, but... this whole deal where the hot babe goes for the "funny", blue-collar type guy is getting a little ridiculous.. I'm not saying it doesn't ever happen, but come on.. He doesn't really seem to appreciate what he has all that much, and actually had the nerve to say something negative about "her" appearance.. yeah, okay.. this would happen in real life. Still though, I am curious to see what direction they go in, it does seem to have a little potential..

I thought it was good. The whole premise is getting a bit tired, it's basically the same premise as Everybody Loves Raymond and The King of Queens, and all three are currently airing on CBS, geez. All in all it seems to be a nice family sitcom plus it's nice to see Jamie Gertz in sitcoms again, she was great as Boots St. Clair on The Facts of Life in the early 80's.

I agree that there's too many of those, overweight guy has a cute wife shows but you know, the networks will always make clones of other shows. When CSI became a hit, look at how many shows decided that forensics was the next big thing.

I actually think this is one of the better family shows. The comedy does not feel forced.

Just accepting the show at face value, I couldn't stop laughing. Maybe I was in a particularly good mood when the show was on but my wife thought it was extremely funny also.

Never-touch-a-booby tribe? That was funny.

Yeah, there are a lot of shows on with the same premise, but as long as they are entertaining, that's all I care about. E.L. Raymond, K of Q, and this new one all do it for me. Baby Bob doesn't!

Despite the been there done that premise, I have to say the pilot did have a few laughs.
My big complaint is with Mark Addy.
The man was born in England. He's Britsh. Why not let him be British? He does a horrible job trying to hide his accent, why make him try?
I think it would add an intersting twist to this tired old loveable lout/sexy wife sitcom genre.
Plus, you could milk a lot of comedy out of the whole culture clash thing.

But, aside from my nitpicking, it wasn't that bad a show.

Sophia: Yeah, they're called lesbians.

I know one thing; the first show was much better than the last three. I'm not giving up yet, but I am begining to weaken.
