Question Content of Freddie's album

Does anyone have the Freddie Prinze comedy album which is promoted on this site? I would like to buy it, but since I have small children I am concerned with content. Any references to drugs, extramarital sex, or any profanity? My kids and I loved the TV Land marathon and the few "adult" references went over their heads, but listening to a CD is of course a more attentive situation. Thanks for any info!

For the most part, there is no profanity on the album. He says **** once (something his father tells him to do regarding Santa Claus and crime) and he uses the n-word once (but that is a routine he does from the point of view of his best friend, Nat, who is black. He also uses "damn" a few times. Overall, I would not say it is a profanity-laced album.

I like the one he said about the car door being open. What was that he said about Chicagoans? "Thank you, I have four of them. Would you like one?" Not that I've met many Chicagoans who were that kind of laid back in all my life but that was funny!

And good old Mr. Rivera.

I bought his album as soon as it was released as i must have been his biggest fan...along with everyone else in my P.R. neighborhood.

The only problem with your kids listening to the CD is that his humor very much represents its time. My son thought alot of it was just not politically correct, even racist. Of course it is not, but he still couldn't relate. Let me know what they think if you do purchase the CD.

Talking

FINALLY--I just got the album "Looking Good", and I laughed my head off! My kids won't be listening to most of it, though. Not much profanity, true, but the last 5 minutes is all about sex, which my kids are absolutely too young (8 and 3) to hear about yet, at least in such a context. Overall, hysterical, and a lot cleaner than comedy these days. Plus, it's a thrill to hear Freddie breathing right in my ear! (I listened to it on a Discman)

I think the album was hysterical-true it is a bit dated but hey, that was the time I grew up in so I love it!!! I agree ahout the references to sex-too much for small ears but for us oldies...LOOOKING GOOD!!!
I especially loved hearing his laugh-so natural, so sweet-not rehearsed-JUST HIM!!!!
What a nice way to remember him- in the days before the real fame hit and he was a sweet kid making audiences laugh.

Esmerelda, I think great minds run along the same track ! I mentioned the breathing, but the laugh was something to experience right in my ear, too!!! He mentions that he was already being recognized (that bit is really funny!), but I agree, he was still just himself at that point.
