Default Anti Downloading Music Commercials

LMAO Britney Spears claims that downloading music is going to ruin the livelyhood of music stars. Ya right dummy!!!! What your gonna lose a couple hundred bucks from your 80 million? Do they seriously think these commercials are gonna stop people from downloading music?

I think the real problem is that they're all greedy. They can't have 1 penny less than what they want.

On BLI last week, she said she sees nothing wrong with d/l music. I take it their record labels forced them into this, or there getting truck loads of money

I still don't see why everybody complains about downloading music. Yeah, downloading doesn't fill up the musicians pockets anymore. Usually we are the ones emptying our pockets to them. We finally have a way to keep our pockets full.

Honestly, before downloading music became big we usually bought cds right and left. Let me ask a question though. Think of every cd in your collection. Think of your favorite song or songs on that disc. Weren't you disappointed in some of the cds? You bought the cd for one or two certain songs, but then you find out that the rest of the disc sucks? I can't tell you how many times I've done that. I buy a cd for one or two songs and think that the rest of the cd will rock, but then when you actually listen to it and realize that you just blew 15 bucks on something that isn't worth it.

I still buy cds. I don't buy as many as I used to before downloading. The only cds I buy now are from the musicians that I've had a positive experience from in the past. I'll take the Dixie Chicks for example. I have the Wide Open Spaces and Fly cd. Every song on each disc was awesome, so I went out and bought the new cd. I wasn't disappointed by the new cd either.

I think Britney is just going through a low tide now. A few months ago you saw Britney everywhere. I've noticed that the talk has been dying down with all the major singers and groups from a few years ago. I think the Backstreet Boys are in a major slump. I think N' Sync is going into the slump now. Britney is too. Christina Aguilera has a new cd coming out, so I won't count her out yet.

As you can see though, we've had a major income of new musicians that writes their own music and plays their own instruments (Michelle Branch, Vanessa Carlton, Avril Lavigne) and they are the ones getting all the talk now. jmo

I'm still kind of surprised what she wore at the music awards. How did she keep her boobs from popping out from under her top?

I don't mean to offend any of the Christina fans on this board, but I have to admit one thing that I thought was kind of hilarious. Remember when she did the Moulin Rouge video and that the really poufy hair and the strange colored makeup? People were saying she resemble Dee Snider of Twisted Sister. I see her hair is back to normal and the makeup looks better.
