If you ever wanted to know how much your grandma's antique tea pot was or the story behind your prized Vincent Van Gogh painting Cash In The Attic was for you. A UK show airing on BBC Cash In The Attic was hosted by the team of Alistair Appleton Lorne Spicer and Ben Fogle as they traveled to people's houses to discuss their various antiques and offer them cash. This show was really cute and it might've been the inspiration for METV's Collector's Call. An American version of Cash In The Attic was made for HGTV but lasted one season. BBC America aired Cash In The Attic reruns in the 2000's together with another UK show Bargain Hunt and it would be cool if BBC America aired Cash In The Attic reruns again. Mom and I used to love this show because Mom loves antiques and we could learn interesting facts just by watching Cash In The Attic
