Default Sitcoms that you were surprised never came to NICK at NITE

Some shows I was surprised that never was Coming on NICK at NITE that I thought would were..

The Adventures Of Ozzie and Harriet this show was based around the entire Concept of NICK at NITE. It did make it to TVLand but surprised it never aired Regularly on NICK at NITE.

Leave It To Beaver. This one really surprised me it became a staple on TVLand and it aired briefly on a NICK at NITE’s Summer Block in the past but never was given a Regular time slot.

Mr.Belvedere & Just The 10 Of Us I thought for sure both of these shows would of showed up back in the day on nick@nite had Full House & Family Matters & Perfect Strangers I’m surprised they didn’t pick up these Two shows as they were a huge contribution to building TGIF. Surprise nick@nite didn’t go for these as well.

Saved By The Bell ended up on teen nick but always thought this show was going to be seen on nick@nite. Thought it would of been great for the 9pm & 6AM time slots and given an occasion All NITE Marathon.

the middle. I’m totally shocked on this one. the middle is one of the most realistic and loved shows for people who grew up in the Midwest. I thought they would have added this show to nick@nite for sure. Even the last 2 seasons abc showed the middle I was thinking this is a show that definitely will last through reruns on nick@nite for a long time. In addition with Patricia Heatons Popular Everybody Loves Raymond showed much Success on TVLand. I thought for sure Patricia Heatons the middle on nick@nite would of been awesome.

NICK
at
NITE
Classic NITE or Block I thought for sure that the network would bring there old tapes or Vault and create a block deticated to Classic NICK at NITE I’m talking the old shows from the 50’s & 60’s and easy going ones of the 70’s to its promos and jingles or even seeing the block NITELY on nick jr. they could of called it NICK at NITE SENIOR.

Oh well. What shows were you surprised that never was Coming to NICK at NITE and thought it would?

They never had Reba.

Honestly, a lot of the later 2000s shows they've aired have had super short tenures on the block compared to Friends. Stuff like HIMYM and The Office only lasted a few months.

Will & Grace: Nick @ Nite since N@N has aired Friends and Seinfeld, it always seemed strange to me that they never picked up Will & Grace as well.

Frasier: Again, N@N aired Cheers for a while so it seems odd they never snatched up Frasier.

Punky Brewster: Another show that would be a perfect fit for N@N, could easily have slid into ther 8pm timeslot as the first of a lineup of family-friendly classics.

Blossom: This show seems tailor made for the N@N line-up. It's adult enough to entertain grown ups and funny enough for the kids. It has nostalgic appeal for people who grew up in the 90's.

Other TGIF shows: Full House aired on N@N for a very long time, and Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Growing Pains, Hangin with Mr Cooper and Who's The Boss all had runs as well, but N@N never picked up Boy Meets World, Just the Ten of Us, Step by Step or Dinosaurs all of which were huge parts of the TGIF world and would have fit in perfect on N@N.

The Golden Girls or Empty Nest: Given how popular TGG is in reruns it's pretty shocking that it's never aired on N@N. I believe it's aired on TVLand in the past, but never N@N. I'm also kind of surprised that Empty Nest never made it onto the line-up.

Step By Step (they had Full House and Family Matters, so I'm surprised they never had this one)
According to Jim (they had George Lopez and Yes Dear, so I'm surprised they never tried Jim)
Last Man Standing (one of the few modern "family" sort of shows)
Boy Meets World (a bit surprising, although I don't really know if this would've worked on n@n, especially in the later seasons when it became more like a teen drama than a sitcom)
Mr. Belvidere (this should've been given a chance but it isn't as popular as other shows from its time)
