Belle and Jolene just abandoning their homes and belongings

So when Belle left, she was on vacation in Nashville then decided to go on the road with her cousins in a music band. What happened to all her furniture and belongings? Did she just leave them? I remember she said they would be traveling around.... so was she still using her apartment in Phoenix as her home base?

And when Jolene was hired on and quit her trucker job, what became of her belongings and house in South Carolina?

Some people are not attached to things or sentimental about belongings. Perhaps these women were living out of their suitcases.

For a couple of years, I was one who was living out of a suitcase and duffle bag. The apartments I rented were furnished. Just gave 30 days noticed and that was that.

It could be, I'm just thinking they would have some RESPONSIBILITY to their belongings.... I live in an apartment and I have quite a bit of stuff and if I just up and LEFT, I feel like someone would come tracking me down and telling me, "Uh you need to make some kind of arrangements with your things!" lol I think furnished apartments may have been more common back then, I could not find any furnished ones when I was looking for one. Also those apartments looked pretty nice, I would assume on their salary they were income based, but Alice's is really nice with built in wall shelves, a bar with stools, etc....
