Nebraska bank robbery tragedy - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I suppose some of you have heard about the robbery of that
bank in Norfolk, Nebraska(Johnny Carson's hometown), where
4 hispanic males held up the bank and shot and killed five
people. Well, a Nebraska state trooper has committed suicide
in connection to this incident. It seems he stopped one of the
suspects on September 19th and cited him for carrying a
concealed weapon, but failed to check the weapon, which
had been stolen. He felt he could not live with the burden
of being responsible for the death of innocent citizens.

That is so sad. I feel so bad for the victims and their families. That is so sad that the trooper felt so bad that he killed himself. It's sad that these violent acts take place. There is no real reason why anything as terrible as that should happen. And, it's too bad that some people feel so bad even if the acts were done by someone else.
