Post Freddie's appearance changed?

Three off-the-wall questions about Freddie's appearance--Was his hair ever a wig (it looks so much lighter in the pilot, and too good to be real later on); did he ever get his nose broken during the run of the show or any other time; and did he get his teeth capped at some point, or am I imagining that there once was a gap in the front ones which disappeared? Also, where can I post a short story I am writing in which the main male character is not Chico but there are hints that he was the inspiration? Thanx in advance!

HI LKB, IN THE MOVIE OF FREDDIES LIFE "CAN YOU HEAR THE LAUGHTER"THE STUDIO THOUGHT HE DIDNT LOOK DARK ENOUGH, SO THEY PUT DARKER MAKE UP ON HIM,(I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE)
PERHAPS THEY DARKENED HIS HAIR AS WELL.
LATER ON HIS HAIR DID LOOK LIGHTER, I ASUMMED ITS JUST THE LIGHTING PUTTING HIGHLIGHTS IN HIS HAIR. I DONT KNOW.
HIS NOSE DOES LOOK LIKE IT HAD BEEN BROKEN BEFORE ALTHOUGH IVE NEVER READ ANYTHING ABOUT THAT HAPPENING.
IT LOOKS LIKE HE HAD HIS TEETH BONDED. I CANT WAIT TO READ YOUR SHORT STORY. LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE ABLE TO POST IT SO WE CAN READ IT. BYE.

I think Freddie did get thouse two slightly crooked front teeth capped later on. I don't know about the nose, maybe it was a cocaine thing? His hair looks brown in some lights and black in others. I think it was part lighting, part the film aging and part maybe they did make him up to look darker. I notice in some eps he has more of a tan than others, I attributed it to seasonal changes. Same with the hair reddening a little in the sun.

My hair tends to grow out insanely thick so I shave part of it, so I can believe that was Freddie's hair.

I think that was his hair too....... It was thick and so beautiful. In the 70's alot of people grew their hair like that and hispanics have very thick hair (Some of them). In all the articles that I have read on Freddie and the pictures that I've seen of him he always has that thick beautiful hair. Also I'm sure the lightness of his hair was weather related.... (Sunshine of CA-LI-FOR-NI-A). His teeth do look capped later on. I'm having a ball looking at the re-runs.

Yeah, I wanted Freddie's hair for my own. In the '70s my hair was curly in the back and straight in front and so I looked like Danny Bonaduce from the front and Larry Fine from the back. There are a lot of Hispanics, Greeks, Italians and Indias with thick gorgeous hair like Freddie's here in my city, my German-Irish self is so jealous.
