CBS is bringing back "Hollywood Squares". The network announced Thursday that the reboot of the classic game show will launch in January, kicking off the midseason broadcast schedule.

Drew Barrymore is set to be the famed “center square” answering questions for the contestants.

It's great that Hollywood Squares is coming back to network television. Now that we know that Drew Barrymore is going to be the center square, who will be the host, carrying on the tradition of "The Master of the Hollywood Squares" that began with Peter Marshall and continued with John Davidson and Tom Bergeron.

Nate Burleson to Host CBS’ "Hollywood Squares"

"Hollywood Squares" has now has found its host, Nate Burleson.

Burleson co-hosts "CBS Mornings" and is a studio analyst for the network’s NFL coverage, having spent 11 years in the league as a wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions.

"Hollywood Squares" will air on Wednesdays after "The Price is Right at Night" and "Raid the Cage".

Thanks for the updates. Building the set for that show, I'm sure, was not an inexpensive proposition. I wish they would air it before those other gameshows in the lineup, I tend to doze off during later primetime.

Hollywood Squares returns for its final two nights of the season in May sweeps. Hollywood Squares is moving to Fridays at 8:00/7:00 on May 2 and May 9. S.W.A.T. is moving an hour earlier to 9:00/8:00 on those weeks with Fire Country repeats at 10:00. Then S.W.A.T. will have its two hour series finale on May 16 with Greatest At Home Videos leading off. From the Futon Critic's TV listings
