George Lopez Episode Similar To CATM Padre Episode - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I saw in the TV GUIDE where the George Lopez show finally makes it's fall return & will be on next Wed nite at 8:30 pm I think. It listed what the episode is supposed to be about. It is supposed to be where George has always been told by his mom that his father died. & Then he finds out he is not dead but still alive. This sounds so much like the CATM Padre episode. I wonder if they got the idea from CATM?

Just to remind folks... George Lopez is on at 8:30 pm tonite on ABC. For Esai Morales folks, he is the guest star on there tonite. I''ll be watching...

I just saw the show and as usual it was a good show. I enjoyed when they would go back in time with George and his grandfather but, it was not like the
Freddie episode at all.

It was good but it was different. He didn't meet his dad like CHico did & he didn't cry like Chico did. Still ie enjoyed it. It just amde me miss Freddie so much...

I miss Freddie too. I notice when I look at the George Lopez show, I find my mind wanders to "It could've been Freddie"...
