Default Freddie&kathy's Maid?

I KNOW THAT KATHY WANTED A LIVE IN MAID TOWARD THE END OF FREDDIE'S LIFE(AND THAT WAS A SOURCE OF THEIR TROUBLES AS FREDDIE WANTED AND NEEDED HIS PRIVACY AND FELT A LIVE IN MAIDWOULD INFRINGE ON THAT, BUT DOES ANYONE HERE KNOW IF THEY HAD A DAY MAID WHILE FREDDIE AND KATHY WERE STILL TOGETHER OR AFTER FREDDIE MOVED TO THE COMSTOCK?
I THINK IT WOULD BE GREAT IF SOMEONE COULD FIND HER AND TALK TO HER-WHAT A PERSPECTIVE SHE WOULD HAVE!

I think I read somewhere they had a daytime maid & then came the live-in maid & after the live-in maid came Freddie later left. I read he didn't have the room for her & she had to sleep on the couch. From what I read Freddies house only had a livingroom, kitchen not sure if it had a dining room (it may have been just an eat-in kitchen), the bedroom for him & Kathy, the babys room & an extra bedroom which was made into a studio room for him. But Kathy wanted a big Hollywood mansion like the other stars had...

What upset Freddie too besides having to pay for a live-in maid he couldn't really afford & the uppity lifestyle (he didn't mind having one come to clean once a week) was the maid was hispanic & couldn't speak any English. Freddie felt really bad that being hispanic his maid was a hispanic. I think he felt it was derogatory to his people...

Being that she wasn't working at the time and was practically home all day and every day, I really don't understand what the purpose was of hiring a maid when SHE (Kathy) could've done the majority of the work while he (Freddie) was away from home and working. Yeah, she may have had enough common sense to know that his addiction was destroying him and also that she didn't want Jr. to see him in the condition he was in, but it seems as if she didn't have enough common sense regarding the fact that she wasn't helpless.

Living luxuriously shouldn't be an option nor a priority when you can't afford it. And to top it all off, since she wasn't the one whom was working hard to make ends meet nor did she contribute to the income, it baffles me how obligated she felt to demand something in which wasn't coming out of her own pockets and would add to their tight budget in which was already being conflicted by other situations. Although I understand that she had been taking care of Jr. while he was working and he needed to support them, people should still be aware of the limit of what they can afford.

Well, the only interview I know of is the "Midnight Globe" interview. I'm not sure as to how much of it is and isn't accurate, but she WAS interviewed for the publication.

If I'm not mistaken, the interview had taken place two years after Freddie had passed.

I can understand her wanting a maid to clean up once a week. Heck I'd love to have one & could use it. But a daily maid was too much & esp when Freddie didn't have the money...

Yes how in the world did Kathy expect him to support and care for little Freddie when he had to be working all the time and still couldn't afford the maid-
Was that Kathy you are referring to in the interview or the maid

I was referring to Kathy. I'm not quite sure now as to whether Anna was asking the question meaning Kathy or the maid, I probably misunderstood.

Although I can't begin to imagine what she had gone through at the time they were together, both sides have to be thoroughly examined. The last time I checked, there were two people involved in a marriage (well in some cases, there are more than two but I won't discuss that) and I doubt that Freddie had been the only one that had faults. Why is it that people use his addictions and use of a handgun as a superiority over her contribution while making their arguements one-sided? I'm not necessarily saying that his use of drugs as well as the handgun wasn't important because it definitely was, but why not be more open-minded toward the other side as well?
