Norm Macdonald Makes Deal with FOX

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - FOX has signed former "Saturday Night Live"
player Norm Macdonald to be the lead in a comedy for the 2003-04 season.

Macdonald, who also headlined the ABC sitcom "Norm," signed what's known as a
talent holding deal, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He's agreed to do a project
for the network but isn't attached to any specific one.

In addition to his work in front of the camera on "SNL" and "Norm," Macdonald wrote
for both shows. He was also a writer on "Roseanne" and "The Dennis Miller
Show."

During the last development season, he co-starred with Jon Lovitz in a comedy called
"Leave Me Alone," which was produced by fellow "SNL" alum Adam Sandler. NBC
decided not to pick it up.

I'm so glad Norm's back on t.v. He is one of my most people of all time.
