Angry Whats wrong with TV Land?

Why would they cancel a good show, a classic show like Leave it to Beaver and add a sub-par show like Chico and the Man? Honestly the acting on Good Times was even better than on this show! I guess there must be an audience though because everone is slamming me for my comments!

Maybe its because the show hasnt been seen for 23 years,(Freddie episodes for 24).Leave it to Beaver is a classic,no doubt, but it has basically been run to death. It needs a break.Anyway, burying Chico at midnight is a sure way to have it disapear quickly.

I wish TV Land would pick up some of the short lived 80s series. There are so many to choose from. You could name them off day and night.

I am very glad that they are finally running Chico and the Man again.I think it is terrible that it has taken 24 years to put Freddie Prinze back on TV he was a very talented man in my opinion. Also it is also on a 8:30 am ontv land as well as midnight (same episode both times) They can keep Leave it to Beaver off forever for all I care

Talking

"Gee, Wally!"

"Gosh, Beav, I dunno."

At least the actors on Chico weren't reciting like Tony Dow did in Beaver. I think what'shisname who started this thread is pulling our legs. I think.

Red face

Leave it to beaver has been run to death like Gilligan's Island and the brady bunch. Maybe you dont like Chico, but it means a lot to me. My Dad moved his shop from a white neighborhood in Frankford to a Puerto Rican
neighborhood in North Kensington near Hunting Park. I identified with the show, and I havent seen it since 1977 or 78. Go watch something else on cable.
