Yes, this is relative to everyday life. LOL. OK, Ive noticed that whenever I get out of water (pool, shower, etc), I break out into a rash all on my chest, neck and jaw- and now its starting on my back and it itches, BAD! It itches for about 30-45 minutes afterwards and its all red. Its been this way for quite sometime and Ive asked a few of my friends and they dont have this problem. Anyways, I was wondering..does this happen to you when you step out of the shower? It itches seriously whicked bad and Ive just started using Aveeno. Thing is, it only lasts like I said 30-45 minutes, then everything goes away. Weird, huh? Maybe theres a doctor in the boards who could clear this out for me

There was this one girl I heard about that was allergic to water, anyone hear about her? Anyways, you might have some kind of allergic reaction to water or something, or possibly chlorine (sp?) in the pool water might be the problem, but if it happens in the shower too then I have no idea...

Yeah, I was thinking that too...Hmmm...who knows!!! I didnt really go in the pool that much this year, but it seems to be more intense when I get out of the shower. COol! Someone replied! I was thinking no one would look because of the IM ITCHY title lol. But, yeah maybe its just an allergic reaction or something

OMG! The same thing used to happen to me, that is so weird. My skin would be all itchy and red when I got out of the shower and then by an hour later it was all gone. It doesn't happen anymore, but it did for a long time, like several years. I honestly don't know what made it go away, but if it happens mostly in the shower you should try changing soaps or shampoos because you could be allergic to that.

I'm like that too. when ever i get out of the shower my feet and
my legs would be itchy and red.but it would go away, but its
not happening as much now.

Wow! I never knew so many people had that problem of breaking out in kind of a rash whenever they get out of the shower! I thought I was just weird.

I used to have that problem too. I found that changing soaps helped a lot.

Id definitly agree- try switching soaps. Maybe try one of those cool rinse purifier things- they work really well.

Yeah, the same thing happens to me. However, I don't think it's the water that does it, it's the heat and steam from it. It also happens when I get really hot and sweaty. It's happened for years now...I'm used to it, but it's still annoying.

whenever I had my sunburn last summer and Id get out of the tub I would like go into an itching frenzy. it was horrible. i could not scratch fast enough and if i didn't scratch it hurt so bad. lesson being. im never going out in the sun again.

Well, Ive always used different soaps and body washes etc. Also, I noticed the other day (after years of taking showers

), that the rash and itchiness is right where the water directly hits me on my body-my upper chest and back, and jawline. The water pressure must agitate it somehow. As for the pool..who knows..probably just chemicals. I havent gotten into a natural pond or lake yet, but someday itll be something to test for! lol
