Default Lifetime November Schedule...

Well, GG sticks around in November; The Nanny shows up, airing at 10:00 and 10:30am M-F and M-F at 5:00 and 5:30pm. No change for GG. Check out Pavanbadal's post in the General Sitcoms Questions and Discussions forum.

I think it's pretty safe to assume that The Golden Girls will be around for at least another couple of years on Lifetime. Why is this even an issue? Look at how long Designing Women has been on Lifetime.

I personally am not worried one bit about it, but I posted that because a few posters are just curious about how long it will last. It'll probably be on Lifetime for years to come, and it's obvious Lifetime pretty much favors GG (In a sense that all the timeslots, besides the extra airings, will remain the same). And, it is sort of an issue because all of us have seen how quick other networks are to dismiss shows... so, you just never know anymore.

Very true. Thus far, Lifetime hasn't been as brutal as Nick at Nite and TV Land, at least thus far.

Why does The Nanny have to be on at the same time as Facts Of Life..........................

OH well, at least I'll get to see it in the mornings on days off from school. -sigh-

Didn't GG get Lifetime their best cable ratings ever? Maybe only for an ep or two, but I still think that's true...

I dont think that Lifetime will be getting rid of Golden Girls anytime soon. It is by far their most frequently run show, I am more concerned that Designing Women will soon be missing from the line-up. I could care less about The Nanny- quite possibly the most annoying sitcom every conceived. I dont think it will last on Lifetime.

The morning part sucks... I don't want a 1/2 hour of "The Nanny" between my show! Obviously they did this to keep people watching The Nanny and convert.

NOT ME!

I think the rest will be OK, although I don't like only one episode in the evening. At least it's still on at night two in a row.

Maybe Nanny will go the unfortunate way of Murphy Brown (which was a good show) and disappear from Lifetime within a couple months...

Only one episode at 6:00? No more 6:00-7:00? (for now at least) This sucks, especially since that's the only time I can really watch the show anymore since I have school. Hopefully "The Nanny" won't stay long but I have most of the GG episodes on tape now so I'll be ok.

I'm just glad that Lifetime is going to be changing the 11:00 - 12:00 pm time slot, I think that's when most viewers
watch Golden Girls. But only one episode
of Golden Girls at 6:30, how rude!! Well, I guess I'll have a second show to watch on Lifetime, "The Nanny", I like that show, I really don't care for "Designing Women".

I know you all think the sked sucks, but I PERSONALLY LOVE IT! I havent seen the Nanny in about 2 years now. So what if it took away from the afteroon ep. You still have the night eps. To be truthful, I'm getting a little sick of Golden Girls by seeing 4 episodes a day everyday, and I think Lifetime did a good move. Golden Girls won't be so overplayed. I can't stand Designing Women, at least a good show is taking it's place. And hopefully the Nanny will have a nice, long run, no matter what you all said.

LOVE YA LIFETIME.......

I still think Lifetime made a mistake getting rid of Murphy Brown; The Nanny, it's okay, but not a fave of mine; and frankly, as much as I love GG (and believe me, I do) I'm glad they're cutting it back a bit, It seems like everytime I watched, I always see the same episode, lol. Now, if they got rid of the morning and evening episodes all together, it would be another story...

I am not happy about any of this. Anyone who says that they love the Nanny I feel bad for. So many hours of that annoying voice everyday? Please. I dont deal well with change and I hate to see my late night episodes of Designing women gone.
